That’s why I love to shop Amazon for window treatment. They have a great collection of curtains, shades and rods that can easily create a custom curtains look for much, much less!
So let’s take a look at the best Amazon curtains, shades and rods available. And I will also share my best tips on how to hang curtains correctly as well.

One of my favorite curtain purchases from Amazon was our velvet blackout curtains from Half Priced Drapes. These curtains have such great quality for the price! I love their thickness and they’re incredibly soft as well.
To me, they just look so luxurious. I have a set hanging in the living room and also a set in our primary bedroom too.
Two Pages Curtains
These are the curtains that have been flooding the internet! And for good reason because Two Page Curtains look exactly like high-end custom designer linen curtains for way less than the real thing. Who doesn’t love that?!
Another great thing about them is you can order fabric color samples so that you know exactly what your curtain will look like in your home.

As much as I love stylish, drapery panels – I also love the look of roman shades!
They are available in a ton of textures and styles to compliment any home decor. In our kitchen I have a linen roman shade which I love looking at every day.
In our basement I have several woven shades in this brown/cinnamon color. One set is in our living room/home office area and the other is in our newly remodeled home gym.
They add a ton of warmth and style to our rather simple windows. And they are SO EASY to install. The cordless option is always my pick too because this lady hates all cords!

How To Hang Curtain Panels
The general rule when it comes to hanging curtains is to hang them “high and wide”.
For me, that means hanging curtains about 10-12″ from each side of window and about 1/2-2/3 the distance towards the top of the window to help the ceilings look as high as possible. The graphic below gives you a great visual!
