Fall Front Porch and Dining Room Tour
Simple decorating ideas to help you decorate your fall front porch or dining room!
Every year I look forward to decorating my fall front porch. Maybe it’s because I’m such a sucker for pumpkins and mums. Or perhaps it’s getting to style a layered doormat and rug combo. Who knows? All I know it that every time I decorate it, I enjoy every minute! 🙂 So today I’m extremely excited to share with you my fall front porch and dining room home tour!
If you are looking for some simple ways to add fall to your home, I have a ton of inspiration for you today. I’ve teamed up with Krista from The Happy Housie and many other fabulous bloggers to show you a ton of beautiful fall decor all week long. But first, let me show you the front porch!
Fall Front Porch
This year for my fall front porch I decided to keep the decor pretty neutral with just a tiny hint of plum.
This pop of plum was not in my original plan for the front porch. But when I saw these gorgeous kale plants at the nursery, I just couldn’t resist. And then somehow, a pair of plum mums ended up in my cart too!
Unfortunately the nursery didn’t have any real pumpkins yet, so thank goodness for my faux pumpkins from last year. But you better believe I will stay on the hunt for some real pumpkins. 🙂 For now, some good fakies and a pumpkin doormat will have to do.
My larger white mums are looking a little sad this year which is kinda bummer. Between the early snow and ash from the local fires, they’ve already taken a beating. So do me a favor and just keep your focus on the pretty kale and plum mums! 🙂
This year I also decided to try a new ‘planter’ look for my mums by using baskets. I’m loving the fun texture they add to the whole decor.

Fall Kitchen

Fall Dining Room
Now, let’s venture over from the kitchen to the fall dining room. Most of my decor in this room stayed the same except for a few simple fall additions.
I was strolling through Target a week or so back when this pretty striped vase caught me eye. I instantly snatched it up for my dining room table center piece. A few stems of faux eucalyptus and I love how it turned out. 🙂
For my sideboard, I placed a vase with Vyron mums and fresh eucalyptus between my favorite lanterns. This simple vignette created such a pretty view to enjoy while eating our evening dinners. 🙂
