Golden Fall in the Kitchen
Come see how little touches of gold help create a beautiful feel of fall in the kitchen!
Welcome to my first fall home tour of 2020! Over the next couple weeks I will be sharing different rooms from my home all sprinkled with little touches of fall. As always, my fall decor is on the neutral side and I like to keep things really simple.
I’m honored to be once again be joining the lovely Marty of A Stroll Thru Life for her seasonal home tour series. In August, both Marty and her husband became ill with Covid 19. And Marty was able to make a recovery but unfortunately her husband did not. He passed away the middle of August. So please, keep her in your prayers as she experiences this incredibly sad loss. If you have a moment, please visit her blog – A Stroll Thru Life – and give her some extra love. I know she would be so grateful. Sending you much love, Marty!
So, let’s get this fall home tour started. If you are visiting from Linda at It All Started With Paint, welcome! Today I’m sharing my golden fall kitchen.
Golden Fall Leaves
The fall star of this home tour is my faux golden aspen leaves. Yellow is not usually something I decorate with but I do love my aspens. So being in Colorado, I just couldn’t resist to play with this golden fall color.
I wanted to get a new vase that would really add a nice contrast to the golden aspen leaves and this black vase is perfect!
It was time to update the kitchen with a new fall print as well. So I added this one called Fall Foliage. I love the neutral fall colors it adds to the kitchen, plus the little touch of gold it has too! And I think it looks pretty nice paired next to my new seagrass lamp as well.
Trader Joe’s already had a few of their real mini white pumpkins out. So I had to buy some of those and place a few next to the sink.
In this corner of the kitchen, not much changed for fall. I feel this area is already busy when I’m cooking. So I like to keep it pretty clean of extra decor.
And that’s all of my fall additions to the kitchen. Simple, with a hint of gold here or there! Alright, the aspen leaves may be a tad more than a hint! 🙂

Laura,
You kitchen is beautifully dressed for fall! I am really loving simple touches for fall this year. The golden hues are just perfect. I need to make a Trader Joes trip!
Laura your pairing of the soft shades of gold is truly beautiful and elegant! I am so inspired! It is always a true delight to be on tour with you!
Oh I do love your kitchen and the aspen leaves look so beautiful for a pop of fall color. Thanks so much for joining the tour again this year and for your love and support.
Hi Laura, loving the pop gold in your pretty kitchen. I Love that print! I was on collection prints web site yesterday and ordered a few myself. Enjoy the fall season.
Love those gorgeous aspen branches paired with that beautiful black vase! That print is the perfect fall accent! Pinned! xo Heather
I just adore your kitchen and the simple touches of gold are perfection!!! I especially love that little sea grass lamp — what a great way to cozy up the space at night!
🙂 Linda
How lucky you are to live amongst such gorgeous fall color! Love those aspens and your subtle hints of fall in the kitchen. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of those cute white baby boos!
I always love your kitchen tours! I’m not usually a yellow/gold fan either but love it during the fall. I hope the fires have been okay around your area. Happy Fall!
Beautiful kitchen! Yellow Leaves make for a great accent color! I almost purchased that same PB vase but got one of their other ones instead. Now I want the one you have! LOL
Those aspens give your pretty kitchen a really nice punch of color, and they go so well with the color of your cabinets!
I love your kitchen with the simple fall accents! The print is darling. However, what real caught my eye was the tray of cooking items corralled near your stove. Could you tell me where you found the tray and spoon holders? If it was covered in a previous post I would be more than happy to read it! Happy Fall Ya’ll!
Hi Sarah! Thank you for the sweet words. I actually do have a post all about my kitchen tray organization. You should be able to find all the details with this link: https://inspirationformoms.porch.com/kitchen-counter-organization/ Hope that helps. 🙂 And a very happy fall to you too!!
One of my all tie favorites color combos is grey and gold! You nailed it, such a stunning fall kitchen!
Hi, Laura. Thanks for sharing! Love how perfectly understated your decor is. That pop of buttery yellow is just right. May I ask where you got your rug? Love it! Thanks.
Thank you so much, Maggie! Here’s the link to the source of my rug: https://rstyle.me/+DSxZViCw3JEIIIGZPiyRhg
