Kitchen And Dining Room Spring Tour
Spring is officially here! Let’s celebrate with a kitchen and dining room Spring tour full of pops of green.

Welcome to the official first day of Spring! Today I’ve teamed up with Marty from A Stroll Thru Life, along with some very talented blogging ladies to share a week long tour full of Spring decorated homes. If you are visiting from Clean and Scentsible, welcome! I love Jenn’s simple and elegant style throughout her home. So now that you’re here, let’s get this Spring Home tour started!
My living room area is currently under a big remodel — I’m painting all my walls (all the way up to the vaulted ceiling – yikes!). I’m also planning on updating the lighting and would love to get some new furniture as well. Hopefully, I can share the whole makeover with you on the next tour this Summer. So on today’s tour, I’m sharing my kitchen and dining room. This post contains affiliate links for your shopping convenience. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
Welcome to my kitchen and dining room Spring tour!
Let’s first start this tour with a look around our kitchen.
I’ve added a few new Spring touches to the kitchen including a new rug that I love. There’s something about a great herringbone pattern that I just can’t resist.
I also added some new green with a few fresh herb plants. I love the simple placement of basil on my tray next to the canisters and oil bottles. It gives a nice pop of green to this little organized area in my kitchen. Plus it smells so good!
My tiered tray was also refreshed for Spring with some new fresh greenery including parsley, basil and a few limes. Spring and green just go together, right?!
I love those little ceramic plant markers for my herbs. They look great in my little pots but I know they would be awesome in a garden too!
Let’s now venture over to the dining room…
This space has a few new updates. I just recently added four new wood chairs. Not only are they super comfortable and easy to clean, they also match my table perfectly.
Our old rug was looking pretty worn — a dog and two boys can do that over time. I just replaced it last week with this new jute rug that has a cotton backing which eliminates all the shedding that can happen with this type of rug. It amazed me how soft it was to the touch too. But most of all, I really love how much texture it instantly added to the dining room area. A wonderful change from our old rug!
When I saw this flower vase centerpiece, I knew it would be perfect for the dining table. To me, tulips are the perfect flower to welcome Spring so I got a combo of purple and white. By the way, Trader Joe’s consistently is a great place to get fresh flowers for cheap!
On the buffet cabinet I placed a new pair of lamps with a pair of fun buffalo check shades. Speaking of fun, I finally got me a letterboard. I’ve been wanting one for a long time because you know, quotes are kinda my thing. I knew this would be the perfect Spring message to share with you too. Don’t you love it?!
Also, our master bedroom received a Spring refresh a few weeks back. So be sure to check it out too! (click here to see the bedroom)
I hope you enjoyed our kitchen and dining room Spring tour — I’m so glad you stopped by! The next stop on the tour today is Haneen at Haneens Haven, I think you will love her style. I know I do! You’ll also find below the links to all the stops on the tour. It’s a Spring Home Tour that is filled with a ton of inspiration for you!

Love your kitchen so much! And it’s the perfect touch of spring.
I love your home, always so pretty and using fresh herbs to decorate for Spring is prefect. The table centerpiece of tulips is stunning, love those little jars and that quote just made me giggle. Thanks so much for joining the tours, such a treat.
Laura, I love your home! The kitchen is always a favorite and yes, green is king during spring. 😉
Great changes for your dining room, love the rug and the chairs, how lucky you were to find them with the perfect finish!
Your kitchen is lovely! Your “wet plants” sign made me laugh!
I love the idea of all those pretty potted herbs around the kitchen. It makes everything look so fresh…and you can use them! Perfect!
So crisp and uncluttered–I love it all! Great minds think alike with your gingham pillows in the master; I have them in my living room. Aren’t they great?!
Laura, how awesome to find chairs that match your table perfectly. im trying to do the same thing myself. How fun is that letterboard….and your quote. Happy spring!
Your Spring decorating is so pretty Laura! I love all the tulips and the limes for that Spring pop of color.
You home is lovely and so refreshing and inviting for Spring! I have that same tiered tray and use it all the time and I love how you’ve styled yours for Spring. 🙂
Your kitchen and dining room is spring-perfect Laura! I can’t wait to see your new living room! As always so honored to share this home tour with you dear! Cheers!
What color are your kitchen cabinets? They are exactly what I want in mine.
Hi there! I painted my kitchen cabinets Chelsea Gray by Benjamin Moore. Hope that helps! 🙂
Can I ask where your cooking oil bottles are from?
Sure! Those are from World Market. 🙂
Love your kitchen!! So many great touches. I was wondering if you could tell me the manufacturer and color of your flooring?
Hi Allison! My floors are made by Pergo and the style is Cross-Sawn Chestnut but unfortunate it’s been discounted. 🙁
