Simple Spring Home Tour 2020
Enjoy a fun spring home tour full of simple decor inspiration!
I have some very exciting news to announce. Spring arrives this Thursday! Isn’t that greatest news?! I’m so excited to see all the spring blooms and start enjoying more time outdoors again. And the exciting news doesn’t end there – it’s also spring home tour week! Once again, I’ve teamed up with the lovely Marty from A Stroll Thru Life along with 29 other talented bloggers to share our spring home decor with you. This is one of my favorite tours to be in and I’m always so grateful to be invited!
If you are stopping by from Taryn Whiteaker, welcome! I’m so glad you are here and I hope my tour will give you a ton of fun ways to add spring to your home. So let’s get this spring home tour started in my favorite room in the house, our kitchen. This post contains affiliate links.
Kitchen Spring Tour
The decor in the kitchen is simple with a few new updates. My favorite change has to be our new rug!
This isn’t my normal style, but I’ve really come to love it! And I think it goes well with the kitchen cabinet color as well. 🙂
I scored a new fruit bowl on sale a few weeks ago too. It’s an aged iron bowl and I love the contrast and textured it adds to the kitchen counters. Plus of course, it’s great for storing apples too!
My kitchen was in need of some new spring art, so a few weeks ago I made not one but TWO new flower sketches. I really like this first sketch because of the extra blooms on the branches.
But this sketch is really, just as pretty. The simplicity and cleaner look of the flower branch has a lovely style. No matter which print is your favorite, you can print them both, for FREE!

This side of the kitchen has a couple new items as well. On a simple trip to Trader Joe’s for groceries, a new little fern managed to make it’s way into my shopping cart. 😉 Can’t say I’m mad about that one bit. A few weeks ago I also found the perfect distressed stone planter for my new green friend. (similar planter linked here)
I love the pop of spring green this little plant gives this small kitchen corner!
That completes the spring refresh in the kitchen.

Now let me show you the dining room!
Dining Room Spring Tour
For this room. I have lots of pretty spring blooms plus a new DIY spring decoration you can make as well. First up, let’s talk flowers and place settings.
No spring table is complete without a gorgeous bouquet in a unique vase. I don’t usually go this bold with my color choices, but I couldn’t resist those lovely ranunculus flowers. My favorite place to shop for them is Trader Joe’s and they’re usually only available for about a month. So I had to grab those fuchsia beauties.
Then my eyes spotted those amazing orange tulips! Mix those with some green eucalyptus and a few chamomile and this floral centerpiece was perfect for spring.
For my place settings, I just shopped my home except for the wooden eggs. I knew they would be perfect for some fun spring napkin folded bunnies.
These gingham napkin bunnies are so easy to create. First, fold a napkin into thirds. Then, fold lower corners up to meet in center, creating a paper-airplane shape. Flip over the napkin so the seam faces the table. Fold in the outer edges to meet in the center. Place an egg on pointed tip as a guide. Tie “ears” above it with ribbon or twine, and then nestle the egg into place.
And that’s it. Such a fun way to set your table for spring!
To complete the look in the dining room, I also made a pretty spring starburst forsythia wreath. It was so incredibly easy to make! And I love the little pop of spring green it adds to the wall in the dining room.
