I’ve been noticing over the past year or so that I’m craving a more simple/minimalist decor for our home. So I’ve been trying to rid our house of all the clutter. And I only want to keep what truly matters or like the famous saying goes, ‘Brings me joy.’  When it comes to seasonal decor, I especially want to keep it simple. So with spring soon arriving, I wanted to add some new art to our home. But I wanted this art design to have neutral simplicity that would compliment the kitchen or any room.  I don’t want to brag – but – I think I nailed. 🙂 My modern spring flower sketch was exactly the look I wanted. 

This simple branch full of spring blooms has a fun sketched look. I designed the background to have a very subtle gray worn appearance. This way it would feel like a more vintage piece of art. 

Placing it in front of the white subway tile back splash really helped the art stand out in the room. Actually, I liked this spring flower sketch so much, I decided to create another one to compliment the first. What do think of this one?

This one has just blooms and no buds but to me, looks just as nice!  

I wish I could show you both of the spring flower sketches displayed together, but I don’t have two matching frames. ( insert facepalm) I bought this frame at Target like a year ago and I’ve regretted (many times) not buying two. 

Anyway, if you have a little wall space that’s needing a couple of paired art pieces, these spring flower sketches would be perfect. And they’re not just for the kitchen. They would also be great hanging in a bedroom or living room as well. 

But as for me, I think I’m keeping mine in the kitchen. I’ll just have to switch out the two different sketches every now and then. Or maybe now I have a good excuse to go shopping for two matching frames that bring me joy. 🙂
