Hostess Gift Guide
With the holidays approaching fast, now is the time to shop for the hostess. Here’s my hostess gift guide full of fun gift ideas!
Today I’m sharing my first holiday gift guide of the year! I love starting with gifts for the hostess because this guide can apply to Thanksgiving, holiday parties or Christmas. Or really, anytime of the year! And most of these hostess gift items can make great housewarming gifts as well. 🙂
I’ll be sharing all of my gift guides this week! And if you like, you can check out all of my prior years gift guides, many of which are still relevant. So having said all of that, now let talk hostess gifts!
HOSTESS GIFT SOURCES: monogrammed serving board | holiday bar soap | platters and boards book | USB candle lighter | hot toddy glasses | hand duo | match cloche | cane fiber tray | hand towel | booz and vinyl book | snow globe wine stopper | wood and marble wine cooler | set of two tapper candles | acrylic block picture frame | vinegar and olive oil set |
Below are a few notes on some of the items shown above! Side note: most of these don’t need wrapping or anything more than a pretty velvet ribbon. And you could also mix and match if you want to combine them into a larger gift!
Some Additional Details for Hostess Gift
Monogrammed Serving Board | A personalized board that everyone will love! Composed of gorgeous white marble and mango wood with fabulous reviews and a great price.
Platters and Boards Book | Help your hostess level up their charcuterie skills. This book is a gorgeous manual for assembling balanced and irresistible boards beautifully arranged with creative combinations. Lots of seasonal boards featuring accessible ingredients/accompaniments. (Hey Chris, get me one. 🙂 )
Holiday Bar Soap | The cutest bar soap packaged I ever did see! All ten styles have a special item attached. 🙂 And they are all scented with a wink to wintertime fun and festivities, making them a perfect hostess gift. Or even a great stocking stuffer as well.
USB Candle Lighter | If you love to give candles as gifts, then don’t forget to include this genius way to light them up. This little gadget is like a magic trick. It utilizes flameless technology for a clean, butane-free ignition and is rechargeable through a USB port.
Hot Toddy Glasses | The perfect glasses for spreading holiday ‘cheers’! Great for hot toddies, spiced eggnog or heck – even a fabulous cup of coffee. 🙂 Come in three different colors too.
Cane Fiber Tray | The cane detail combined with the wood tone of this basket is gorgeous. It looks good styled on a coffee table or in the kitchen with fruit. You could even fill with some nice linen guest towels for an even more fantastic hostess gift.
Booz and Vinyl Book | This book highlights 70 great albums with two complementary cocktail recipes for each. Perfect for the hostess you loves music and classic cocktails. And I bet it would be a great conversation starter as well!
Snow Globe Wine Stopper | Combined with a bottle of their favorite wine, how can you go wrong with gifting the cutest wine stopper ever?!
Wood & Marble Wine Cooler | So sophisticated and yet so useful! I was reading reviews and found this one which I couldn’t help share word-for-word: “It’s a tale as old as time – uncertainty as to what you should buy your mother for Christmas. Slipper socks? No, too cheap. A kindle book? You’re better than that. In comes the Wood and Marble Wine Cooler. Or as my mother likes to call it; “the best thing you’ve gotten me all year.” That’s right. All year. And I even got her a diamond necklace for her birthday. This is sleek, sophisticated, and sure-to-make-your-momma-happy during Christmas. Don’t do it for me. Do it for your momma.” So great for mothers as well as hostesses! 🙂
Set of Two Taper Candles | Tapers are so popular right now! So these beautifully designed candles would be a delightful gift for any home. My favorite color is the ivory!
Hand Towel | Love the stripes and fringed ends. And the back is terry cloth! Lots of reviewers said they were pleasantly surprised how soft and absorbent they were.
Acrylic Block Picture Frames | Just fill this with one of your favorite pictures and enjoy. I love that it’s frameless because then the eye focuses on the picture versus being distracted by the frame. These would also be great for encasing ticket stubs, postcards or any other souvenirs. 🙂
Tree Wood and Marble Board | This board is absolutely perfect for holiday charcutier appetizers. Love the style combination for the mango wood and white marble. Could be great for Christmas cookies as well!
Vinegar and Olive Oil Set | For the hostess who loves to cook! It may be a tab bit of a splurge but the 25-Year-Barrel-Aged Balsamic Vinegar has some pretty fabulous reviews: “It is the most delicious balsamic vinegar I have ever tasted. It is sweet and thicker more than most. Olive oil so light.” I think once you or your hostess try these two, you’re gonna be hooked!
