Christmas Home Tour 2019
Welcome to our Christmas home tour 2019! The decor is simple but the love for Christmas is overflowing.
Are you excited that Christmas is only 15 days away?! I am always happy to see this festive season roll around and all the Christmas home tours that come with it! Once again, I’ve teamed up with the lovely Marty from A Stroll Thru Life along with 29 other talented bloggers to share our fall home decor with you. This is one of my favorite tours to be in and I’m always so grateful to be included with such a talented group of ladies. If you are hopping over from Taryn Whiteaker, welcome! I just loved Taryn’s Christmas home decor.
So now that you are here, let’s get this simple Christmas home tour started with a view of our front porch. This year I decided to keep my holiday decor pretty neutral except for the occasional pop of red. For some reason, red is just my go to color at Christmas time.
And I have a big surprise! I’m sharing with you a new room that has never been in my home tours before! A little more on that room in a little later. First, let me show you the front porch.
Front Porch
I wrapped our porch in lots of gorgeous greenery. There are a few touches or red tucked throughout. A fun doormat, lanterns, ribbon and a few cozy pillows all add a little Christmas color. Over all, it’s neutral decor is how I love to decorate!
Now, come on inside and let me show you the kitchen.
The Kitchen
In this room, I added some greenery as well with a lovely Christmas garland around the window. I also replaced our kitchen rug with this new diamond textured pom pom one! The pattern gives our floor area a little more style and it’s so soft.
For some new Christmas art, I bought this sweet printable C’est Noel from Lindsay Letters. This French exclamation translates to… ‘It’s Christmas!’. Its simple design and neutral colors are what I loved about it. I paired the art up with my set of zinc reindeer to complete the look.
Next to the stove is my favorite little kitchen tray. I had to add a little touch of Christmas to this corner, so a simple mini lighted tree works beautifully.
The kitchen also got a new towel. I found the cutest shop that made this sweet tea towel that says, ‘A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices!’ They had a ton of styles and sayings, but I really liked this one. It goes perfectly with our pretty tea holiday mugs. 🙂
To our little coffee station, I added a small glitter tree. It’s not really noticeable but I love seeing it every morning when I make my first cup of coffee. 🙂
My absolute favorite Christmas decor that I keeping bring out year after year is my super cheap, white ceramic houses. What can I say? I’m a total sucker for that soft white glow from insides those little village houses!
I’ve collected them over the years and actually have a nice amount now. So nice in fact, that this year I’m sharing them in my boys bedroom for their Christmas themed room.
Before we leave the kitchen and enter the dining room, can I offer your a Peppermint Meltaway cookie? I just shared the recipe recently and I think you’re going to love it!

Now let me show you our Christmas tree themed dining room decor.
The Dining Room
Those mini lighted trees are really the stars of this Christmas home tour! I think I may have some in every room in the house.
The dining table centerpiece is a cluster of three mini lighted faux trees paired with those super cute white ceramic houses. At night, all these twinkle lights make this room (and possibly even dinner) a little more magical.
The place settings are rather simple as well. I found some super cute Falalala napkins and paired each setting with it’s own mini tree.
Even though our Christmas table decor is not very elaborate, I love how it all came together. It’s festive and obviously styled for the season, but not over the top! 🙂
I’ve had this sign up for years. But those words are never been more truer than at the holidays.

And now it’s time for the surprise room on this tour. It’s our hall bathroom!
Hall Bathroom
I just finished remodeling this whole bathroom in October. It wasn’t fully ready for fall home tour, so I decided to add a touch of Christmas to this room and share it with you now!
You need to go and see the before to really grasp how much this room has changed.
A little lighted Christmas tree is all this room needs to add the magic of the season. 🙂
