Bathroom Remodel with Modern Fixtures from Delta

An outdated bathroom gets a new look with modern fixtures from the Delta faucet brands. You won’t believe the transformation!

When remodeling a bathroom, every detail is so important. The choices of tile, flooring, accessories, fixtures — all matter because they each play a crucial part in the design. So when it came time to select the fixtures for our bathroom makeover, I instantly knew I wanted modern fixtures from Delta. 

Just for fun, let me take you back in time and remind you what this space looked like before the remodel began. You can see that our fixtures were outdated builder grade products. I’ve actually never been a fan of the one single handle faucet. When little ones are in the home, it’s so nice to have handles for both the hot and cold for safety. 

The Vanity

So that’s why I love our new Two Handled Widespread Channel Bathroom Faucet. This one fixture was the inspiration for the whole bathroom. Once I laid eyes on it in that sleek matte black finish, I knew the Ara Collection was perfect for this room!

Not only does the Ara Collection have a streamlines contemporary style, but everyone in the family loves the faucets waterfall effect. It’s like the coolest faucet we have in the whole house! And with Delta’s DIAMOND™ Seal Technology our faucet will be leak-free and last twice as long as the industry standard.  Which is great because my love for this faucet runs deep! 🙂

You can find this gorgeous collection throughout the entire bathroom. Besides the faucet, we also installed a new tank lever, towel ring, towel bar and tissue holder. The matte black finish of the fixtures really adds a sharp contrast with all the white in the room. I love it! It’s exactly the look I had envisioned.

The Shower

Now let’s talk about the main set of fixtures in our new bathroom. Our tub spout and shower trim is also part of the Ara Collection. But we went with something different for our shower head and I’m so glad we did! 

We went with the H2OKinetic In2ition 5-Setting Two-in-One Shower which features a detachable hand shower that can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. 

The dual-functionality gives us maximum flexibility without sacrificing any of the warmth.  We can choose to have water streaming from the shower head only, the hand shower only or both the shower head and hand shower at once. And let me tell you, the hand held feature is so helpful when you have messy boys in the home! 😉 

Not to mention the innovative H 2 Okinetic Ttechnology sculpts the water from the shower head into a unique wave pattern. This gives the feeling of more water without using more water and creating a shower with more warmth, coverage and intensity. So genius.

You may not be surprised, but since we’ve finished this bathroom, everyone wants to shower in here. And I can’t blame them because this shower does feel amazing! It used to be that coffee was the best reason for me to wake up. But now, it’s this shower! 😉
