Top 10 of 2013!

Hi there! Remember me?
I have been enjoying a long holiday vacation with the family.
It’s been great to just unplug, kick up the feet and just….
Although part of me is itchin’ to get back to crafting, DIY and cooking!
Well, maybe the cooking part was a stretch. 🙂
2013 has been a great year on Inspiration for Moms.
I’ve been so blessed to grow by leaps and bounds
and discover I have an amazing group of readers! 🙂
I am so grateful for each and everyone of you that faithfully
hang out with me! You mean the world to me! 
So, since it’s almost 2014, I thought it might be fun to look back 
and my Top 10 posts of 2013.
Starting with number 10 and working down the list…
10) Easy Messy Bun Tutorial {from Improving Me in 2013 Sereis}
This series was a huge hit last January. 
It was good for me to get out of my comfort zone and try some new ideas!
9) Fall Burlap and Lace Wreath Tutorial
I made a few wreaths this year and this one was one of my favorites!
8) Custom Headboard Tutorial
I see this headboard every night when I tuck my son into bed. 
It was such an easy project that still looks great!
7) Big Boy Room Makeover
I know you have heard this before, but I have to say it one more time…
this room is my favorite makeover ever!
I love walking into little man’s room, it just feels so special.
6) Organize Your Bills and Receipts {Tutorial}
I needed to do this for years and I finally got organized and did it.
I used this system the whole year and it was great! 🙂
5) Improving Me Day 19 {Accessory Tips: Scarves}
I often refer back to this post when looking for a new way to tie a scarf.
Who knew there were so many ways?!

4) Six New Uses for Dish Towels
This post went viral on Pinterest. 
Kitchen dish towels really have some amazing new uses that
have absolutely nothing to do with drying the dishes!

3) Six New Uses for Coffee Filters
Another new use post that you guys loved!

2) No-Sew Faux Roman Shade {Tutorial}
My shade tutorial was a huge hit and it still looks great in little man’s room.
and the most popular post of 2013 was
1) How to Spray Paint Your Lamp Shades {Tutorial}
So many readers where shocked to discover that you can
spray paint lamp shades!
It was a very simple, low-cost technique that gave a dramatic change to the lights.
Who knows? I may be spray painting a few more shades in 2014!
I hope the rest of your 2013 is fabulous!
 Since my little man doesn’t go back to school until the 7th,
I plan on enjoying some more time off this week.

But just so you know, I’m working on a some awesome projects for the new year
and can’t wait to share with you! 
2014 is going to be a fabulous year!
