Thankful Thanksgiving Count Down: Day 3

Right now as I write this I am sitting in a warm house, wrapped in my favorite cozy blanket, drinking a warm cup of Candy Cane Lane tea. I am safe and secure without a worry. For this, I am thankful.

I know (too often) I take for granted my home. I forget that some people don’t know where they will sleep at night. And there are people you live in communities that are dangerous and unsafe. Even when they are in their homes, they’re scared. There are parents with children living out of their cars….yep, I take my home for granted all the time.

Let me not forget to be thankful for my home. A warm roof over my head and a safe place for my family, for I am indeed thankful…
