Slow Cooker Baked Apples

Hi there friends! This morning after I woke, I discovered it was an official snow day. After I did a little happy dance around the kitchen, I started thinking about what I could make for dinner without leaving the house. After surveying the freezer, I got a meal planned. But then there’s dessert. You need a warm, comfort food treat on a snowy, cold day. Oh yes! I knew exactly what I could make… my Slow Cooker Baked Apples recipe has sweet comfort written all over it!

Slow Cooker Baked Apples- sweet comfort food!

One bite into these sweet tender apples and you’ll know that life is truly a beautiful thing! I usually start this recipe in the slow cooker late afternoon and by the time we finish our dinner, the apples are ready to be devoured!

The whole process is as simple as one, two, three. First up. core your apples.

Third, cook. See….I told you this was easy! A great dessert for for snowy days. Or even busy nights when you’re trying to cook dinner with a screaming 11-month-old while helping your 3rd grader do their homework. Or maybe that’s just my life these days. 😉
