Beautiful Summer Home Tour with Amazing Pops of Blue and Green
This simple Summer home tour comes alive with beautiful pops of blue and green!
___________
Hi there! Guess what? It’s happy Summer Home Tour day! I’m so excited to team up once again with Marty at A Stroll Thu Life, along with some other amazing bloggers. This week long tour of beautifully decorated Summer Homes is sure to fill you with tons of inspiration. If you’re stopping by from Making Home Base, welcome! Isn’t Chelsea’s home lovely? You can find the full list of all the bloggers homes on the tour at the bottom of this post, so be sure to visit them all!
One of the biggest changes to our home since the Spring Home Tour is the front porch patio. I gave this space a complete makeover (see the before here) and our family has been enjoying it ever since. One of my favorite pieces on the patio, besides the new furniture, is the blue striped rug. I was just cruising through when I found it on sale. Love it when that happens, don’t you?
I just love the little “Hi” sign. It was originally a beautiful farmhouse natural wood color but when I hanged it up on my brick wall, it just didn’t pop. So I painted it white and now you can see it easily. So cute!
A simple white tray is great for carrying out drinks and snacks. I just love those black lanterns…they look so high end but I actually scored them at Target!
The wall basket that I had in the kitchen made it’s way to the front patio. I think it’s the perfect container for a couple hydrangea plants. Shopping your home is such a great way to update spaces without spending a dime!
The living room was updated with fresh greenery from my backyard. Also adding a few bouquets of peonies was a nice way to add some beautiful color and fragrance to my home. Nothing says Summer to me like peonies! I hope to plant some in my yard soon.
In the kitchen, I made a few changes with a couple new plants. I’ve been on a really lucky streak lately with my plants because no one has died. So I keep buying more! The little one left of the sink is a Ginseng plant my husband fell in love with at IKEA. So we had to buy him! Every day my hubby brags about how well his one plant is doing. I just roll my eyes cause I’m like a plant rock star over here! (Well, for now.) 😉
I had to get a new plant for my favorite spot in the kitchen, my counter organizer. I found this white flowering plant at Trader Joe’s. And I love how it adds a nice pop of green and white to the tray.
My mini rose bush is still doing wonderful despite not having any buds currently. I love how pretty she is on my little black and white striped tray next to my cute bubble brush. It’s the little things that I love the most in my kitchen.
In my dining room I added a few new plants, surprise! And a fun tray of cupcakes! I wish those babies were always in my home. And of course, I couldn’t help but add some more peonies too.Thank you so much for visiting my Summer Home tour!

Thank you, Laura! I actually snagged that sign at Hobby Lobby. It was a natural wood color but I needed it to pop, so I painted it white! So honored to be in the home tours with you. Wishing you a very happy Summer! 🙂
