DIY: Spring Hydrangea Wreath

Happy Monday to you! I had a very productive weekend. I was able to clean my house and make a few more Spring projects. One of which I will share with you now…my DIY Spring Hydrangea Wreath.

This wreath was easy and cheap. Not always the best qualities,
but for a do-it-yourself project…they are perfect! 😉

I gathered up my coupons, matched with some great sales and snagged my supplies.

And no DIY project can start without a little healthy snack. 🙂

First, I cut the stems off my hydrangea flowers leaving about a one inch stub.
Then I stuck them into the wreath without any hot glue just to see the placement.

Sorry for the busy background,
I used my sons Mickey Mouse placemat to protect my table. 🙂
Once I had everything in place,
I gently pulled out one flower at a time and hot glued.
The butterflies were simply clipped-on with attached clips.

And that’s it! Totally cost was under $10 bucks.
It took me about 15 minutes from start to hanging it on the door!

So, is it looking like Spring at your house?

  1. Oh my, take a bow!

You’ve put a “spring” in my step with your creative loveliness.

    Have a blessed day!

  2. Very pretty! I was looking at similar butterflies at Michael’s the other day, and I couldn’t quite think of how to use them. They look great. 🙂
