Christmas Kitchen Home Tour 2018
Enjoy a Christmas kitchen tour filled with simple neutral decor and tiny pops of red accents throughout the room.
The Christmas season is officially here and I’m so excited! If you’re already decorating your home for the holiday season — I have some beautiful Christmas kitchen inspiration for you. I’ve teamed up with Tammy at Pink Peppermint Design and some very talented ladies today to share our kitchens all decked out. If you are visiting from Meme Hill, welcome and thank you for visiting! Wasn’t her kitchen beautiful?! I love Amie’s beautiful and classic style.
This year I kept my Christmas kitchen decor rather simple. I stuck with the neutrals that I love but decided to use that classic red color as my accent color.
Simple White Houses Add Christmas Twinkle
One of my favorite Christmas decor items are those little white houses. I found them in the Dollar Spot at Target years ago and I’ve been adding to my collection every year. This year, I used most of my houses in the kitchen. I started by placing a few inside my new glass kitchen cabinets. There’s twinkle lights with timers inside each one, so they go on and off all on their own. The twinkle effect gives them the look of real candles and the soft warm glow is so pretty at night!
My favorite Christmas movie of all time is Christmas Vacation. And last year I made some free printables focusing on famous quotes from the movie. So I just had to include one again in my kitchen this year. Every time I look at it, I can hear Aunt Bethany’s voice asking that famous question. 😉

Pops of Green Enhance the Christmas Theme
We have lived in this home for three years and this is the first time I’ve placed a garland around the window over the farmhouse sink. And now I wish I’d have done it sooner. It’s so pretty both day and night! To give it a fuller look, I added some fresh eucalyptus and some red berry sprays. Love how that little pop of red is peeking out. 😉
Walking through Target one day, I stumbled upon this super cute house cookie jar. It’s sleek neutral style was perfect for our kitchen decor. Unfortunately, it’s just been sitting there empty. The boys and I need to have a baking day and fill it with some Chocolate Peppermint Cookies!
Our Christmas kitchen home tour this year is really special because of our brand new microwave and electric range. Those two pieces just arrived a few weeks ago and finally completed our two year kitchen remodel. And just in time for the holidays too. It’s kinda like happy-early-Christmas-present to me! 😉 My mom and sister came to visit for Thanksgiving last week and that range cooked everything to perfection. It may have helped me fool them into thinking that I’m a great cook. 😉

Touches of Red Create Festive Trays
My kitchen trays always get some special Christmas touches as well. For this tray a simple evergreen and eucalyptus spray were added for a pop of green. I also sneaked a little white ceramic house for a soft twinkle glow.
My three tired tray was such a hit last year, I had to bring it out again. Along with my white houses and black reindeer, I added some red plaid presents and a few red bells. I also stacked a few wooden stars for a fun holiday look. Even though I got them on sale, the personalized plaid mugs were a tiny splurge. But I love the look of them and they are useful for coffee too, right?! 😉
