Stitch Fix – A Stylist Delivered To You

Do you get up every morning and look in your closet and think….”I have nothing to wear. I wish someone would shop for me and then just bring the clothes to my house.” That’s what I always think. Then last month I discovered Stitch Fix and it was exactly what I’ve wished! I got a box full of clothes delivered right to my front door. I was so impressed…I had to share all the details with you.

So basically how Stitch Fix works is you sign up for an account and fill out your style profile. You share your sizes of course but also your likes and dislikes. Like I’m not into fur so please don’t send me a fur coat! 😉 Then your own personal stylist will handpick a selection of five clothing items and accessories unique to your taste, budget and lifestyle. You set the date on when you want your shipment to arrive. When it does, the fun really begins! 😉 Try everything on then keep what you like, send back what you don’t in a prepaid mailing bag. So simple and easy.

Here…let me show you my first package I just received last week. All the goodies came in this pretty box, right to my front door step…

It was like Christmas in July friends! I couldn’t wait to open it and see what my stylist had picked out for me. To my surprise…I found this neat personalized note from my stylist, Rachel. She also included five different outfit inspirations to show me how to style the five items she sent. Awesome…cause I need all the stylin’ help I can get!

Look how cute the clothes are wrapped? With instructions printed on the inside of the box?! It couldn’t get more easier than that!

So want to see what I got? I didn’t keep all the items and I’ll explain why as we go.

First up was a pair of Kut From The Kloth Simmons Bootcut Jeans. I really, really loved these jeans except…they were too long. Even with heels. So sad, so I sent those back. I tried them on with this white Diaz Crochet Detail Top but the top just wasn’t me. So it went back too.

Next up was a Careen V-Neck Dolman Knit Top. I loved this for three reasons. One…comfy. Two…navy. And three…striped. Sold! I kept this shirt!

Next up was a Purple Elmar Embroidered Cutout Blouse. It was pretty but just not me.

The sleeves had a really pretty detail…but I knew I would never wear it. So it went back.

The last thing in my box was this Shelli Split Back Knit Tank. At first it just looks like a regular tank. It’s pretty but kinda plain…

That is until you flip it over and check out the back…

What’s that? A split back opening? How fun! Once I tried this on, I knew it had to stay with me. So I kept this one also.

So two out of five stayed and three went in the prepaid envelope back to Stitch Fix. Overall it was a fun experience and I’m already signed up for another box of goodies in August. This time I hope maybe I’ll get some jewelry or even shoes!

If you would like to give Stitch Fix a try too, you can go HERE to sign up. If you do, I would love for you to come back and leave me comment of how you liked it! 🙂
