Spring in the Home / Living Room
See how easy it is to bring spring in the home!
The official start of spring is less than a week away. Does that get you excite? It does me! Right now outside our house sits two feet of snow! We just had the blizzard of the season but I’m not letting that stop me from adding lots of spring in our home. And I’m so excited to share it all with you in this fun spring home tour!
Once again, I’m thrilled to be joining Krista of The Happy Housie. Krista just had a new house built and it’s been so much fun to watch it being constructed. It’s going to be a stunning home for their family! So if you’re hopping over from her blog – Welcome! So happy to have you visiting.
I’m starting this home tour off in our living room. So let me share with you some of my favorite, simple ways to add spring in the home.
Spring Touches in the Living Room

One of my favorite ways to add spring into our home is with lots of gorgeous greenery. And when I stumbled upon this moss pot a couple of weeks ago, I had to get it. I love it’s playful spring green color and how it compliments my white mums fabulously!

Spring Florals in a Unique ‘Vase’
For the living room coffee table I also put together another little ranunculus and alstroemeria spring floral arrangement.

You wanna know a little secret? The black ‘vase’ for my arrangement is actually a toothbrush holder. Surprised?! It’s made out of marble which definitely helps to give it a more classic vase look but yet – it’s actually made for holding toothbrushes.
Those little holes designed in the holder for the brushes are perfect for holding up beautiful spring flowers too! So the next time your out at Target or Bed Bath and Beyond – take a peek at their toothbrush holders. You may find a gem of a mini flower vase!

Charlie kept attempting to nap while I kept trying to snap pictures. Apparently she does understand this whole spring home tour event. 😉
We really need to get a lighter couch so she stands out more. At night, you can’t even see her. We’ve actually almost sat on her a couple of times. Haha!

Another spot in the living room I updated for spring were the prints in the tv gallery wall. I found this collection of six botanical prints that were perfect for this area. Love the simple and modern look of the wildflowers and eucalyptus. And the prints are just one more way to add some greenery to our home. 🙂
