10 Best Off White Paint Colors For Kitchen Cabinets
Whether you are looking to give your kitchen cabinets an update or you have a brand new build, here are 10 of the best off white paint colors for kitchen cabinets. Any one will be a winner in your kitchen design!
I think we can all agree that the kitchen is the heart of the home. And if that’s true, can you guess what the heart of the kitchen is? The cabinets!
They take up such a big portion of the kitchen, so it’s important to give them all the attention they deserve.
And that’s where the power of paint of comes to play! Painting is one of the quickest and easiest ways to transform any space in your home.
Obviously, this applies not only to the walls you paint, but to the cabinets in your kitchen as well.
When it came to painting our kitchen cabinets, I went for a gorgeous Chelsea Gray by Benjamin Moore. Still so happy with my pick all these years later – no regrets!
But I realize gray kitchen cabinets are not for everyone. So that’s why I want to dive deeper into creamy white cabinets.
White kitchen cabinets are trendy and yet classic at the same time – especially off-white cabinets. The subtle warm undertones can give a kitchen an instant cozy feeling without being to bright or overpowering.
So now, let’s take a closer look at some of my favorite white paint colors.

Off White Paint Colors For Kitchen Cabinets
Any one of these ten colors below would be an excellent choice in helping you create a timeless look for your kitchen that will never go out of style!
1 | Benjamin Moore White Dove
White Dove is one of Benjamin Moore most popular white paint colors.
It’sย aย warm, creamy white but, in certain spaces, all you’ll see is a clean, classic white color. Thus making it a best choice for many homeowners as well.
2 | Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace
Another off white color that is a great option for kitchen cabinets in Chantilly Lace. This color is a close second behind White Dove as one of Benjamin Moore’s top white paint colors.
Chantilly Lace is incredibly crisp and clean white, with just a very slight touch of warm tones.ย
It’s absolutely gorgeous on cabinetry making it a great choice for any space that you want to feel light and airy.
3 | Sherwin Williams Alabaster
Alabaster is a beautiful white with the slightest touch of cream. This color will do a great job of brightening an older or darker space. It can bring a ton of new life to any kitchen cabinets that need updating.
What I love most about this particular white is it can stand the test of time. It’s a trendy color without ever going out of style.
Plus, it can be used in any type of lighting situation. So if you’re kitchen as limited lighting, you definitely want to consider Alabaster.
4 | Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee
I love this color for white walls! So much so, it’s what I recently painted our primary bedroom. But it’s also a perfect choice for cabinets too.
Interior designers love Swiss Coffee – including Shea McGee who used it throughout her home as a wall color and in many of her projects as well. Swiss Coffee is a beautiful, darker off-white paint color that has a lovely warm undertone.ย
It’s a popular choice because it pairs well with a variety of other colors. And it can complement both classic and modern design styles very nicely!

Yellow Undertone Tip:ย If you are looking for a crisp, calming, warm white paint color without those annoying yellow undertones, try the following options:ย Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee, Benjamin Moore Super White, or Sherwin Williams Snowbound. (All three colors are featured in my top 10 best white paint colors.)
5 | Benjamin Moore Baby Fawn

Baby Fawn is part of Benjamin Moore’s off white collection. This color is a go-to neutral that can offer a lovely refresh to a kitchen, while at the same time, providing a warm, welcoming feeling.
It’s a perfect balance neutral white color that can work great in any home and any decor style.
6 | Benjamin Moore Classic Gray
Don’t let the name Classic Gray fool ya. This color is an ultra-light shade ofย grayย that can also function as an off-white. However, depending on the light exposure of the room, sometimes Classic Gray can be seen with a tiny shade of taupe.
But if you have a kitchen with a pretty good amount of light, this color can be down right gorgeous – just like in the kitchen above!
So just be aware of lighting in your kitchen before you set your mindย on this cabinetย color.ย
7 | Benjamin Moore Decorator’s White
Decorator’s White is a soft white but a little more in the cool whites because it has a tiny, tiny touch of gray.
Although this shade is slightly warmer than Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace, it still works quite well with white marble and wood flooring as seen above.
8 | Benjamin Moore Natural Cream
Even though this popular color is more of a griege, it’s so clean and fresh it can appear as a beautiful off-white.
Natural Cream is a great alternative if you like the idea of a white kitchen but want something with a little more color and depth.
9 | Sherwin Williams Snowbound
You may have noticed most of my best paint colors have been with Benjamin Moore. Well, this color from Sherwin Williams is definitely worth mentioning!
Snowbound is a great go-to color for cabinets and trim. It reflects enough light to feel like a true white but enough warmth to keep it from being too stark.
It’s like the perfect combination for any kitchen color scheme!
10 | Sherwin Williams Pure White
One more Sherwin Williams color that I love for a kitchen is pure white! This is a good choice for a classic kitchen because its warmth pairs well with many modern finishes.
So if your kitchen has white quartz countertops or a white subway backsplash, Pure White is flexible enough to compliment those details beautifully. Just look how fantastic it looks in the kitchen above!
