My Stitch Fix #2 Is Here + A Giveaway For You!
Hi there, I’ve missed you! I took a little blogging vacation last week because my sister was here for a visit. The time was spent with lots of hugging…
and of course, lots of shopping….
and lots of eating! It was great to see her again and just take some time off to rest and enjoy. While my sister was visiting, I had lots of packages arrive. Some were items from the Nordstrom sale and one was my monthly Stitch Fix box. My sister was like, “You have no idea what’s in this box? Like none?” I answered, “Nope. And that’s why it’s so fun to open!!” 😉
So today, I am going to share what I received, what I kept and what I sent back. Oh, wait! Did you notice the title said… giveaway?! That’s right! I am going to giveaway (2) $20.00 Stitch Fix gift cards! This giveaway is open to new and returning Stitch Fix customers so you definitely want to enter! Why the amount of $20 bucks? Well, let me explain by going into the details on how Stich Fix works.
First, you start by filling out your style profile. You will share your preference on size, style, color and price range. You can also share with your personal stylists your likes and dislikes. I even gave my stylist a link to my Pinterest style board for easy reference.
Then, you order your very first fix! Your credit card will be charged a $20.00 styling fee however if you decide to keep anything (one item or more) you will be credited back the $20. So really it makes sense to buy at least one thing because otherwise you spent $20 and got nothing in return. That’s no fun. And that’s why my giveaway is for (2) $20 Stitch Fix gift cards. Two lucky winners will have the opportunity to try it out for FREE! And you can’t beat FREE, right?!
After your Stitch Fix arrives, you have three business days to decided what you want to keep or send back. Inside your order is a postage paid envelope, so it’s super easy to do returns. If you decide that you want to keep all 5 items in your box, you will receive a 25% discount off your entire fix!
I have set my account to do monthly fixes but know that you have the option to decide when you want another fix. It could be in a month, 6 months from now or even next year! Alright, now that I’ve explained the details…let me show you what I got!
First up is this outfit: Colibri Polka Dot Print Top ($48.00) with Kut From The Kloth Kate Boyfriend Jean ($88.00)
I really love this polka dot shirt. It had a soft flow and it could be a great transitional piece for fall. But it was a little tight in the bust area.
It even looked great with the second item in my box…. Dante Cut Out Metal Oval Layered Necklace ($32.00)
I love silver colored jewelry. But this piece was a just a little more bold that I usually wear. So the polka dots and the silver necklace were going back. But they do look great together, right?
The next outfit was this: Bowie Soild Dolman Sleeve Top ($58.00) with necklace and jeans
Isn’t the color of this top gorgeous?! I love turquoise even though I don’t wear much of this color. The fabric was super soft and it be great for the summer. This would be super cute this fall under a little jacket. It was a little snug on my waist though so I think it is probably going back. Ugh. Bummer.
The last outfit I have to show you is: Meera Split Neck Top ($54.00) and jeans
I am totally into leopard. I have a couple of tops and a couple pair of shoes in this style. It’s fun pattern that goes with about everything. This tank could be worn now or in the fall with a black cardigan. Another great transition piece…but since I already own so many leopard pieces I think this will have to go back. Now….I know you are probably wondering two things: one, is she ever going to mention those jeans? And two, did she keep anything? Well let me say….it’s time to talk about those jeans I love and kept!
These are the jeans: Kut From The Kloth Kate Boyfriend Jean ($88.00)
My last Stitch Fix I received a pair of Kut From The Kloth boot cut jeans. The fit was great but they were too long. But this pair is great! The boyfriend cut is nice and and I like that I can wear them now with sandals and then in the fall with booties! So yes….I totally kept these! 🙂
This is only my second box so I think the more my stylist gets to know my likes/dislikes the more clothes I will want to keep. Which is a good thing…just not for my wallet! 😉 Ok…so if you would love to try Stitch Fix out…be sure to enter the giveaway. Remember, there will be TWO lucky winners. Good luck!
I love that leopard print top!
