2018 Kitchen and Dining Room Fall Home Tour
Enjoy a kitchen and dining room fall home tour full of lovely neutral colors like white pumpkins and green eucalyptus.
Welcome to our fall home tour! I’ve teamed up with Marty from A Stroll Thru Life along with 29 other talented bloggers to share our home with you. This one of my favorite tours to be a part of and I am always so thankful to be invited by Marty every season to participate!
If you’re stopping in from Remodelacasa, welcome! I have been a big fan of my good friend, Cristina for a long time. I just love her kitchen and all the pops of purple in her tour. So gorgeous!
For our home, I like to keep seasonal decor to a minimum. Who’s got time to shop and room to store all that seasonal decor?! Not me. I guess you could say I love the clean, minimalist look in our home. So having said all that, I really hope you enjoy the full kitchen and dining room tour! Now, let’s get this tour started!
At the front door a new fall pumpkin topiary greets you! The whole theme for my fall decor this year is displayed right here. It’s the beautiful combination of these neutrals; white pumpkins and soft green eucalyptus leaves. You can find the complete tutorial to make your own pumpkin topiary here. It was a super, simple 20 minute do-it-yourself project!
Now that you’re here, let’s make our way to the kitchen.
To bring fall into this space I added a few white pumpkins with the exception of a green one located near the sink. Some of the pumpkins in the tour are even from my own garden! I can’t believe how easy it was to grow them so you know — I’m planting a ton next spring! 😉
I also did a minor update in this room a couple of weeks ago by transforming two of the upper cabinet doors with glass inserts.
It was such an easy way to add a more classic look to the kitchen. Can you believe I did it without using any tools? Well…ok– I did use a screwdriver to install the doors back on. You can read about the whole transformation here.
The art on the counter is a new printable I made for the season too. Autumn has always been my absolute favorite season but after our exceptional hard summer, it’s really a breath of fresh air. If you like, this print is available to you for free. Just click HERE to print your copy.
I decided to move some other items around for a new look on the other side of the kitchen. My counter organizer tray has always been on the left of the stove. One day I just went, heck — wonder what it would look like if I moved it on the other side? And guess what? I kinda like it over there. Now this corner of the kitchen has turned into my complete cooking corner. It’s efficient and it looks good — win/win!
Now, let’s move over to the dining room!
On the dining room table, I added a fun center piece of white pumpkins, green gourds and a few more eucalyptus steams.
I even got crazy with a little bit of color in this room. Did you happen to catch it? Love that purple mum sitting on the sideboard cabinet, it adds just the right amount of pop!
I hope you enjoyed vising our home! Next stop on the tour is Life Love Larson. Andrea lives in a Kansas City suburb very close to where I lived after college. I love her home, her style and all her plants! Be sure to hop over to her tour. You can also check out all the other stops on the tour by clicking on the links below.
