How To Clean Your House While You're Sleeping

It’s time I introduce to our newest family member. She just arrived last week and I frankly don’t know how we lived this long without her. She’s super tidy and cleans up after herself. Nice, right? The House Is Getting Clean

This may seem like an obvious reason to like my new house cleaning robot. But she can really clean! And I might add, easily clean all of our different floor types and rugs in the house.

The Roomba transitions from the hardwood floors to the carpet and even onto our living room shagrug without any hesitation.

Vacuuming that shagrug is no joke. I’ve struggled for years to vacuum over that rug. So when I see Rosie cruse right on top of it, I was so amazed.

She even found an extremely dirty area in the rug and activated the Dirt Detect mode. In this setting, the Roomba moves in a forward/backward motion to clean the area more thoroughly. You know I have boys right? So yea, Rosie has needed to activate that mode more than once in this house! 😉

The House Cleaning Robot Cleans Herself (Thank You Very Much)

When our Roomba finishes vacuuming the house, she goes back to her charging station and empties her own bin. (GET. OUT.) Yes, you read that correctly. The iRobot Roomba i7+ comes with her own Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal.

The Clean Base can hold up to 30 bins of dirt, dust, crumbs, pet hair, etc. So you know what that means? This one fantastic feature will allow me to go weeks without actually thinking about vacuuming. How amazing is that?!

Can you go weeks without thinking about vacuuming in your home? I never could. I’d see food crumbs or feel grim underfoot. But now — I’m like vacuum what? Everything is already clean!

Gives Me All the Control

The iRobot Roomba i7+ also has an iRobot HOME app that I installed on my iPhone. This feature is what gives me all the control on when and where Rosie cleans. Plus if you have Alexa or the Google Assistant, you can do all of the controlling hands-free!

Rosie is not only a mean cleaning machine, she also has some serious smarts. She is able to map out our entire floor plan and remembers this map for future cleanings. Then she can keep track of where she’s been and where she still has to clean. Now come on, I don’t think I can even remember where I’ve cleaned sometimes! 😉

And the Imprint Smart Mapping helps Rosie know my kitchen from the living room. So from the app, I can simply tell Rosie to just clean the living room. And she know exactly where to go!
