Healthy Chocolate Breakfast Cookies
Hey there and Happy Monday! Today I wanted to share with you a delicious dessert that is so healthy, you could even eat it for breakfast. Honest! 🙂
I would normally never eat cookies for breakfast, but when you consider what’s in these babies…they’re pretty healthy. All you need is a couple of bananas, some oats and a few chocolate chips. Then you’re only 15 minutes away from enjoying this little treat with a warm cup of coffee.Â
The banana and oats give this cookie a soft, chewy texture. While the few chocolate chips add a subtle sweetness. The best way to describe them is like eating a mini banana oat muffin. As you might have guessed, I used gluten-free oats in my recipe. But feel free to substitute with regular oats. These cookies are a quick and delicious on-the-go breakfast option that will keep your diet in check. They can also be great for snacks or even after dinner dessert. With two cookies being less than a 100 calories, these treats are a great choice for anyone!
If you love bananas, I have another healthy dessert that you should try. My Chocolate Coconut Banana Bites are only 35 calories a pop. Oh and they totally taste like candy!
Alright, so now go jump in your kitchen and make yourself some breakfast cookies to start your week right! 🙂
