How To Make A Beautiful Eucalyptus Fall Centerpiece

| | |

Create a simple but elegant eucalyptus fall centerpiece for a dining room table or anywhere in your home you want to add a little fall flare!

Fall hasn’t officially arrived on the calendar but it has at my home! It is hands-down my absolute favorite season. So that means I am always ready (aka: when August arrives) to start decorating for fall. And I’m so happy that I’m not the only one who loves to decorate a tad bit early! Today I’m honored to join my friend, Krista from the Happy Housie and so many other talented bloggers for a fall diy/craft edition of Seasonal Simplicity. My diy eucalyptus fall centerpiece is of course, super simple. And it’s neural color scheme makes it the perfect decor for your home this fall!

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS DIY FALL CENTERPIECE:

Place The Foam

The first step in creating this fall centerpiece is filling the vase with the foam insert. This will be needed to help keep all the stems in place as the vase is filled.

Add Some Eucalyptus

Now the fun part begins! Starting with about five of the seeded eucalyptus, I inserted them along the outer edge of the foam. My goal was to try to space them as evenly as possible. You can see how much I spaced them in the picture below.

Then I took the other eucalyptus stems and placed two of them in the center of the vase. I was trying to use these as some fillers for the center of the arrangement.

Insert the Ranunculus

Ranunculus. Say that three times fast! 😉 Such a crazy name but I love them! I went with a soft ivory color to keep the arrangement neutral in color but classic in style.

After everything was inserted into the vase, I took a few steps back and noticed the symmetry. If I found an open spot or too much of one type of stem in an area, I’d switch a few around. Tweaking is a necessary step in arrangements if you ask me!

I just love how it turned out and I think the perfect home for this display is on our kitchen island next to my favorite pumpkin candle! Although, it would look beautiful as a table centerpiece as well.

  5. Laura, this arrangement would be beautiful year round, not just Fall. In fact, it has all the elements of my daughter’s wedding bouquet last year. She also included a few succulents and roses. But eucalyptus dominated. It’s lovely!
