An Honestly Good For You Lunch

|

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Lean Cuisine, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HonestlyGood #ad http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.

If you have been following my blog for awhile

you know that I try to make healthy choices when feeding my family.
We generally buy organic when possible and try to eat lots of fresh produce.

Dinner is usually an easy meal for me to cook because I’m cooking for the whole family.
But lunch, that’s a completely different situation.
Sometimes I have lunch with my husband, but there are occasions when it’s just me.
And I ask you, who wants to cook for just one? Not this lady!
So instead, I snack.

A piece of cheese here, a potato chip there, a couple chocolate almonds
later and I have just enjoyed my fabulously healthy lunch.
What?! Not even. I just filled up on empty calories and I’m still hungry.
What I really want for lunch is a quick, healthy meal made
with real ingredients that’s cooked by someone else!
That’s not too much to ask, right?

That’s why I was pretty excited to discover Lean Cuisine
has launched a NEW collection of Honestly Good meals.
I purchased my meals while I was shopping at Target.
Just look at their variety and you can’t beat the price!

You know what I really love about these new meals?
They are made with 100% all natural, wholesome ingredients that you can pronounce!

There are six wonderful meals to choose from:

Honey Citrus Chicken, Lemongrass Salmon, Pineapple Black Pepper Beef, Plum Ginger Grain-Crusted Fish, Pomegranate Chicken, Roasted Red Pepper Chicken
I decided to try the Lemongrass Salmon, the Honey Citrus Chicken and
the Roasted Red Pepper Chicken.

The Roasted Pepper was my absolute favorite!

I loved the broccoli and the red pepper sauce was so amazing.
I’ve honestly never thought of making a sauce from red peppers!
It complimented not only the cavatappi pasta but the chicken as well.

It was such a nice treat to enjoy a nutritious lunch for one, all for only 270 calories!
I left my lunch filling full, healthy and happy.

I plan on keeping a few of these Honestly Good meals in my freezer
so the next time I am alone for lunch, I won’t be tempted to snack on empty calories.
Instead, I can enjoy a nutritious, healthy lunch that someone else cooked.
It’s like they knew exactly what this busy mom needed! 🙂

So are you like me and hate to cook for one?
What Honestly Good meal would you like to try?
