Thankful Thanksgiving Count Down: Day 7

On this Thanksgiving Eve, I have been thinking about military families. Families that won’t be together for the holidays. Men and woman separated by thousands of miles, in foreign lands, missing their loved ones. Making sacrifices on the holidays and everyday for my freedom.

Precious is our freedom. Freedom that I (sadly) have taken for granted from time to time. As Americans, we have lots of freedom. Like freedom to express our thoughts, freedom to share our faith, and freedom of choice. Being born an American, I probably will never be able to full understand and appreciate the blessing of my countries freedom.


So, today, I thank and honor those who sacrifice their holidays, their families, their lives for my freedom. I am thankful for the United States of America. I am thankful for my faith. And I am thankful that I can share my thoughts with you. 

Freedom…what a priceless gift.
