How to Remove Yellow Stains from Baby Clothes
This post was sponsored by the Maker of OxiClean™ through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about their Versatile Stain Remover, all opinions are my own.
I love this guy to pieces. I do. He already has a ton of great qualities. He’s funny, he’s passionate, he’s determined, he has no fear. But guess what? He’s also one messy eater. No matter how much I try to keep his clothes clean, I’m always haunted by those lingering yellow stains. If you have babies, you know about stained clothes. Why it always ends up yellow? I haven’t got a clue. But this baby of mine loves to eat and his clothes love to show it! 😉
Just a simple snack can leave his shirt looking like this…
In the morning, his pajama’s often end up looking like this before I even get him into his clothes for the day….
I’m sure you’ve heard that OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover has the power to remove tough stains, but is it true?
There was only one way to find out. I gathered my stained clothes and the OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover and headed to my laundry room. I filled my washing machine with about two gallons of warm water and added my stain remover.
I let my stained clothes soak in the washing machine overnight. The next morning I drained the water and then washed my clothes with the OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover and my regular laundry detergent. And guess what? I have good news for you mamas! I’ve discovered a new best friend for helping remove those yellow stains. It totally worked! Check it out…
The shirt is not only clean it also seems a little bit whiter too. That’a a nice bonus! And the pajama’s? Yep…they’re clean as well.
I was so impressed with how well OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover removed the yellow stains! I can’t wait to try it on other items in my home, like our chair slipcovers. I may have accidentally spilled my morning coffee on one as I was stumbling by half asleep. 😉 There are over 101 ways to use OxiClean™ to get tough stains out, delivering value through versatility and incredible benefits vs. detergent alone. I know I’m going to keep a supply on hand in my laundry room from now on!
I challenge you to give it a try for yourself too and then share your success story to DearOxiClean here!
I wish I would have known about this sooner! I was going through some old baby clothes to sell and it seemed like half of them had the yellow stains somewhere on them. This sounds like a great product and I’m so glad you shared it with us at Share The Wealth Sunday!
I can’t wait to try this! We have a bunch of clotes from my first that I would love to use on my newest guy, but they have stains everywhere!
I will say , Oxi Clean is the ONLY product I always keep on hand for the worst stains! I also saw on America’s Test kitchen yesterday that they recommended it out of all the others tested!! Thanks for sharing at the family joy linkup!
Oh wow, that is seriously impressive! I’ve heard of Oxi Clean before, but after trying so many others, I just didn’t believe it would actually work. You have me SERIOUSLY interested now though! My son is also a veerrry messy eater, and this would come in so handy! Thank you for sharing <3
So glad I could help, Savannah. My son his the KING of messing eating! lol Oxi Clean is going to be a big lifesaver and moneysaver. 🙂
I love Oxi-Clean. It’s what my mom always used growing up, and it really gets almost every stain out. 🙂
Yep, I’m a big Oxiclean fan too. I’ve used it ever since my kids were babies – it’s great at getting out all the ‘bio’ stains.
It is Heather! I am so glad I discovered it…in the past, there were lots of stained baby clothes that I just tossed out. 🙁
I love this product but no babies – but I help my elderly folks out with their laundry! Thanks for sharing with us at Throwback Thursday!
Mollie
I’ve had to put up with those yellow stains on my son’s clothes for so long and I had to buy new clothes for him frequently. As a working mother, sometimes I feel exhausted washing the clothes after rubbing them a thousand times with washing powder. This is really annoying and I know this won’t last anymore when I read this post. Thanks very much for showing me 🙂
