Friday’s Fantastic Finds

friday

Hey there! Welcome to the first Friday of June! I think (maybe) I have survived the first week of summer vacation. It’s been a little crazy with trying to keep a nine year-old and a 15 month-old happy and equally entertained. Wowzers! If you have any creative ideas that both of these boys can do together…I am all ears. Leave me a comment, send my a smoke signal…whatever….I need tips! lol I’m going to just call this past week our practice run. I have hopes next week goes a little smoother.

I think it’s almost five o’clock so this wiped out mama is going to go relax in the back yard with a gin in tonic and I hope you enjoy the finds this week.

Fantastic Mini Dessert: Summer Berry Galettes. I have always loved a sweet galette. All it needs is a little scoop of ice cream! 😉

Fantastic For Camping: Multi Function Rolling Cooler. How neat is this idea? Keep your food cold and your tushie dry. 🙂

Fantastic Place for the Kids: 31 Ridiculously Cool Water Parks. Some of these are not in the USA, but there are still plenty to check out.

Fantastic Summer Wear: Mirrored Aviator Sunglasses. I own not one, but two different pairs of these glasses. They look so expensive but only cost $12 bucks, — so why not right?! 🙂

Expensive looking aviator sunglasses...snag them for under $20 bucks!

Fantastic Summer Treat: Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle. Oh yes…pretty please. I’ll take two!

  1. Congrats on making it past week 1. I’m heading into week 3 with a 3 and 5 year old. Though we have lots of road trips planned for the summer, we’ve been spending our non-roadtrip days at the local pool with pool lessons and playdates.

I don’t know what I’ll do when it rains.

P.S. I love all your finds. Especially that cooler and that gorgeous outfit.

    1. Road trips?! Why didn’t I think of adding in some of those? We do have pool lessons planned along with lots of outdoor play activities. Let’s pray for sunny days! 🙂

  2. We own one of those coolers. It is AMAZING!!! I usually sit on the ground/floor when I use it, but it’s perfect!! I use it a lot to eat lunch when I work at consignment sales and it’s nice to have a table to eat at when we’re usually in a random building with no ‘break room’.

Thanks so much for sharring on My Favorite Things!
