Fall Floral Arrangement with Mums
A fall floral arrangement doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. See how I made this one in about 10 minutes!
When you think of fall, what floral comes to mind? For me, mums are the classic fall flower. So when I decided to create a simple fall floral arrangement I really wanted to include them. And then it happened.
I went to Trader Joe’s and passed by the floral section and my eyes caught the most beautiful mum balls. I literally said out loud, “Ooooooo. That is gorgeous!” Sebastian was like, ‘What?! What’s gorgeous?!” I was like – “Those mums! Look!” He looked over at them and says, “Oh.” That’s a typical teenage boy for ya. 🙂
But I’m hoping when you look at this next image, you’ll totally see the same beauty I did!
Gorgeous, right?! So you see why I had to quickly grab 12 of those plum mum beauties and then started looking for some flower to compliment their striking fall color. And I decided some lovely off-white roses would be perfect. Then I decided to combine those two classic florals with some eucalyptus green and I was pretty sure this fall floral arrangement was going to be great!
Once home, I quickly assembled the arrangement and I’m really happy with how this fall floral turned out!
HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THIS FALL FLORAL ARRANGEMENT:

All my floral stems were purchased at Trader Joe’s. But if you don’t have a local store near you, I linked some faux options to help you recreate this look.
- one narrow vase
- one large vase
- seeded eucalyptus stems
- silver dollar eucalyptus stems
- mum ball stems
- white rose stems
My Assemble Steps
I filled up my narrow glass jar with water and placed that inside my larger black vase. Then I started filling my vase with all the green fillers first – basically all the eucalyptus.
Next I added the white roses because I only have six stems. Then I finished off the arrangement with the star of the show – those gorgeous mum balls. A little tweaking here and there and I was done!
I had to share with you an up-and-close shot of those mums. Just look at the symmetry on those petals. Swoon- so beautiful! And I love how the rich purple color looks so vibrant next to the lovely off-white roses.
Was this fall floral arrangement easy to assemble? Absolutely! Almost too easy. But does that mean I will enjoy it any less? No way! Heck – I may even enjoy it more. 🙂
Don’t forget to pin this for later!
