Eerie Outdoor Silhouettes

|

For the Halloween holiday, I wanted to do something easy and yet creative for the outside of our home. I think this project may be both!

It only required five things; felt, black foam, magnet tape, scissors and the patterns. That’s it! Oh, and a little time.

The first step was to measure out my felt strips for the fence.

Yes, that is a tape measure! I am more of a wood working girl than fabric, so I worked with what I had!

After I had cut the fence out, I used the patterns and created the eerie creatures out of black foam. Then I stuck the magnets on the back and started the placement on my garage door. Once everything was in place, I made cuts where the garage door would separate when opened. I then used some extra magnets next to this area to secure the design. And that’s it!

Here’s another picture a little closer…

Love, love how it turned out!! Now, our outside is decked out for Halloween.  And the best part is, I can easily take it down and use it again next year if I want! But knowing me…I will probably do something totally different. 🙂

While we don’t have much fall here in Phoenix I would love for you to stop by to see where I did find a bit of fall.
