Are you ready for some football? Apparently the Broncos won last night! I’ve never been big into football but you know what I am a big fan of? I love gathering with my friends and eating! So if being a huge football fan gets me eating yummy snacks then I say…. GO BRONCOS! Who’s ready to dip into my Chili Cheese Skillet Dip? {hands are waving in the air}

Chili Cheese Skillet Dip

My Chili Cheese Skillet Dip is an easy “Touch Down”! This appetizing snack only requires two ingredients; cheese and chili and about 10 minutes of cooking time.

You may be surprised to see string cheese in this recipe. I like to add it in for some extra stringiness in the dipping fun. Trust me….your friends and family are going to love the never ending string of cheese they’ll have to wrap around and around their chip. 😉

First step is to cube all of the cheese.

Then you scoop out the chili and pour it on top of the cheese.

Then it’s time to broil that skillet of goodness and when you’re done…. this is the results.

The Absolute Best Chili Cheese Skillet Dip

Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 can Hormel® Chili
  • 8 oz. of Colby Jack cheese
  • 4 Mozzarella cheese sticks

Directions:

Turn on the oven broiler. Spray your iron skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Cube your cheese and place in skillet. Add the chili on top of cheese and place skillet in the oven under broiler for 5 minutes. Remove and stir and place back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes. Remove and stir once again. Now…grab a chip and dip!

  1. This is one of my most favorite recipes in the world. We try and eat this every other week, honestly! Though I add cream cheese as well – totally worth it! I’ve never added string cheese before, just whatever block cheese we have in house (normally pepperjack). It’s the perfect snack food that works great as a dinner! Win/win!
