It’s hard to believe we’re already in the month of August! There are only 16 days left before Sebastian has to return to school. Ugh. Before we get back to the daily busy routine, I think a fun treat is needed. It all begins with one word….kabob. I think everyone can agree that eating food on sticks is just FUN. And when the food is chocolate brownies paired with fresh fruit…you know it’s going to be a hit!

Chocolate Banana Split Kabobs

My Chocolate Banana Split Kabobs have all the flavors of a traditional banana split BUT it’s all on a stick. This is a great dessert to remember when you need to impress guests in a flash.

Chocolate Banana Split Kabobs-in a line

My son has never been a brownie fan. Gasp! I know. :) So I decided to use marshmallows (his favorite) in place of the brownie. I instantly had a very happy 8 year-old boy.

The combinations of fruits and cake goodies is endless. If you’re super crunched for time, your guests could even build their own kabobs. All you would need is a few bowls of sliced fruit with pieces of brownies, pound cake, or even angel food cake.

If you love Banana Splits, you should give my Banana Split Dream Pie a try. :)

  • 2 bananas  (cut into twelve slices)
  • marshmallows
  • chocolate syrup

  • mini muffin tin

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and coat your mini muffin tin with cooking spray. Mix your brownie batter according to package directions and add in chocolate chips. Divide the batter between the muffin tins and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Allow brownies to cool while you cut up your fruit. Then assemble your kabobs. Place on a platter and swirl with chocolate syrup.
