I decided to decorate the master bedroom for spring with a mix of seasonal items. Plus I wanted to challenge myself to keep the budget low and mostly shop my own home.

I stayed with neutral colors for two reasons. One, neutral bedding is a good foundation for any color or season. And two, I wanted to use bedding I already owned -which is all very neutral.

Accessorize with Colorful Throw

One colorful throw can do wonders for changing the look of a bedroom. You know my home is full of mostly gray and whites. But when I saw this soft blue throw, I fell in love. Learn more

The perfect blue trio (what I like to call them) was the pillow combination that I needed (had to have really) for our bed.

Add a Touch of Texture
