How To Make Apple Roses with Puff Pastry

This apple roses with puff pastry recipe is not only incredibly impressive but amazingly easy to make as well! It’s perfect for special occasions or gatherings with family and friends.

Ingredients:

apples

apricot preserve

lemon juice

brown sugar

cinnamon 

one puff pastry sheet

powdered sugar

The first step, is to cut the apple in half and core out the middle. Then cut the apples into paper-thin slices. 

STEP 1

Fill a bowl about half way full with water and lemon juice. Then place the apples into the water/lemon mixture. Microwave the bowl for about 3-4 minutes to soften the apples. Then using a colander, drain the water. 

STEP 2

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon, set aside. In another small bowl, combine the apricot preserve and water. Stir to completely combine, set aside. 

STEP 3

Using a rolling pin, shape the dough into a larger rectangular shape. Cut the puff pastry into six equally sized strips. Then spread a thin layer of preserves mixture on each puff pastry strip.
