Easy Puffed Pear Pancakes

Ingredients:

eggs

all-purpose flour

whole milk

vanilla extract

pears

sugar

cinnamon

butter

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place a 12-inch ovenproof skillet, preferably a cast-iron skillet in the oven to warm it.

STEP 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, vanilla, and salt until smooth. In a separate small bowl, toss the pears with the sugar and cinnamon.

STEP 2

Carefully remove the preheated hot skillet from the oven and add the butter, swirling until the better melts.

STEP 3

Return the skillet to the center of the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges of the pancake are puffed and golden. Serve immediately with maple syrup.
