Easy Popovers with Honey Butter

These light, flaky popovers are the perfect addition to any weeknight meal. And since they only require five ingredients, you can make them any time you crave some delicious bread!

Ingredients:

all-purpose flour

teaspoon salt

large eggs

whole milk

butter, melted

butter, at room temperature

honey

Lightly spoon floor into a dry measuring cup, level with knife. In a medium bowl combine measured flour and salt, stirring with a whisk. Set aside.

STEP 1

Combine milk and eggs in a medium bowl, stirring with a whisk until blended, let stand for 30 minutes. Gradually add flour mixture, stirring well with a whisk. Stir in melted butter.

STEP 2

Place a 6 cup standard popover pan in the oven for 5 minutes. (Alternately, you can use a 12-cup muffin pan and make 10 mini popovers.)

STEP 3

Carefully remove the popover pan from the oven and add 1 teaspoon of butter to each cup of the pan. Swirl the butter around the cups to grease the pan. Evenly divide the batter between the popover cups, filling them about 3/4 of the way full.
