Fall Brioche with Orange-Cinnamon Streusel

Welcome the new season with a delicious fall brioche. This brightly colored bread is sure to be a favorite in your home!

Ingredients:

sweet potatoes

dry yeast

sugar

all-purpose flour

eggs

butter

pecans

orange zest

cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil.

STEP 1

Scrub sweet potatoes, pat dry, and pierce several times with fork. Place on prepared sheet.

STEP 2

Bake until tender about 1 hour. Let cool, then peel and mash potatoes. Set aside.

STEP 3

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, stir together 1/2 cup warm water, 1/4 cup granulated sugar and yeast by hand.
