Improving Me in 2013: Day 30 {A Wrapped Loop Updo Tutorial}

| | |
My last tutorial for the series is a fun look that is very versatile.
This hairstyle would be great for a “get up late” morning or
a fancy gathering with family and friends.
It looks hard to do but I promise you, it’s super simple.
I introduce to you the Wrapped Loop Updo.

The first step in creating this hairstyle is to divide your hair into two sections.
Gather your hair behind the lobe of your ear and
then place a couple of clips on the hair at the nape of the neck.
This just keeps everyone in their place. 🙂

Take the gathered hair and make a low ponytail with an elastic
but as you pull it through, only pull it half way.
This will give you the loop part of the hairstyle.

(Use some bobby pins to clean up any ends you may have that are sticking out.)

Last step is to grab the section of hair left out of the pony tail
and wrap it around the elastic, securing with bobby pins.
It should look something like this when you are done.

Mine is not perfect, I have some fly away hairs, but I like that look.
And just for fun, a view from the front.

A great 5-minute hairstyle to add to your wardrobe. 🙂
