Improving Me in 2013: Day 25 {Skincare Tips}

We all want beautiful, healthy skin.
It doesn’t take a bunch of money, expensive products and doctor visits to get it.
Just a few simple, routine steps.

Today I am sharing some helpful skincare tips 
to getting and maintaining a clear complexion.

Tip #1: Sunscreen with SPF (AM)
I am guilty of tanning in my younger days.
And now I am trying to be smarter and apply my sunscreen rain or shine.
To save on time in the mornings, I use a moisturizer with an SPF 30.
In the evenings, I skip the sunscreen and just use a repairing moisturizer.

Tip #2: Gently Cleanings (AM + PM)
Have you ever went to bed with your makeup still on? Guilty.
I hear it’s actually one of the worst things you can do for your face.
So even though I’m tired and just want to fall into bed, 
I stop and take a few minutes to remove makeup and clean my face.
My cleanser of choice is Origins Cheek and Balances.

Tip #3: Exfoliate To Deep Clean (PM)
 I like to exfoliate in the evenings before going to bed because
I feel it’s hard to get all the makeup completely off my face.
Daily exfoliation helps to not only remove makeup but also the buildup of dead skin cells
 and oil leaving you with a more even texture and smoother skin.
I have been using Olay Regenerist detoxifying pore scrub. 
Although, I have been looking into purchasing a Clarisonic Mia Cleaning System. 
I heard they can do wonders for your skin.

Tip #4: Try Not To Touch Your Face (ALL DAY)
I don’t know exactly how often I touch my face through out the day.
But I know it’s a lot!
And every time I do, I’m rubbing germs into my skin. Not good.
So I’m trying to be more conscious of when I do. 
Oh, and don’t forget to clean your cell phone face as well. 🙂

With a few steps everyday, you can achieve clean, healthy skin.
