Improving Me in 2013: Day 24 {Favortie Things}

| |
Today I wanted to share with you my five favorite beauty products.

First up is bareMinerals Foundation.
If you have never tried this powder foundation
I highly recommended it.
It gives a nice flawless finish without feeling heavy or cakey
like the way a liquid foundation can sometimes feel.
Plus I like that is made from pure ingredients that are good for your skin.

Second is Clinique Long Lasting Lipstick.
It’s smooth and silky and lasts for a long time, unless you’re eating. 🙂
My personal favorite color is Berry Freeze.

Third is Dr. Jart+ Beauty Balm.
I discovered this new favorite in my monthly Birchbox
A little information on Birchbox:
it’s an online site where you get tons of samples from high-end brands
and earn points for every full size item you purchase.
I used my points to purchase the Dr. Jart+.

Now you may be wondering what is a beauty balm, so let me explain.
It’s a moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all rolled into one product.
It has a little tint also for hiding imperfections,
so you can wear it alone or under a powder foundation.
I love it because it gives your skin that dewy and glowing look.
Plus it helps mask my redness and to me, that is priceless! 🙂

Fourth is a fantastic mascara called Fibre Lashxtend Lengthening by ModelCo.
I also received this as a Brichbox sample and was pleasantly surprised.
I have a hard time finding a mascara that won’t un-curl my eyelashes.
This one doesn’t and it seems to make my lashes look thicker and longer.
It even has a little mirror on the side of the tube.

And last, but not least is Sephora Perfecting Eye primer.
After about 6-7 hours of wearing my makeup,
I would start to notice these eyeshadow lines on my eyelids.
Since using this, crease lines are gone! 🙂

That’s the list of my favorites,
hopefully I have introduced you to some new products that you may find helpful.

What are your favorite beauty products?
Is there one product you can’t live without?
