Improving Me in 2013: Day 2 {The Whole Picture}

| |
Let’s talk about what I have planned for the next 30 days.

In the first few weeks, we will be focusing on all the
details needed to create our 5-minute wardrobe.
Starting with what it means to be a confident woman
and how to discover your own personal style.

Next comes the essential part,
discovering what every woman needs in her closet.
From the basics, to the fun accessories that will
add that personal touch to your style.
We’ll take inventory and then purge what you don’t need.
I will share some outfit inspiration and then it’s time for
the really fun part…shopping tips!

Once we’ve got our stylin’ outfits all put together,
I will share with you some of my favorite makeup products
and show you how I do my own makeup.
That’s right! This series will include some video tutorials. 🙂

Finally, we’ll end with some quick hairstyles that will complete
the well-dressed look.

Now, for the record, I am not a fashion blogger.
I’m a mom who wants to look cute and well dressed.
Being perfectly put together, each and everyday is not the goal.
It’s about looking good, feeling confident and proud in your own style.
That’s what I want for you!

Put away those negative, preconceived ideas of yourself
and step over to the “You look marvelous, darling” side of life.

Don’t know how to do that?
That’s our topic for tomorrow.

Improving Me Assignment For Day 2:

1- What do you think makes a woman look confident?

2- How can you apply that to you?

Missed the intro to the series? Catch up here.

  1. I’m excited to have found this blog… I need some good tips on how to dress and be confident after having kids…

  2. I absolutely love what you are doing! I am a SAHM of 2 (4 and 1 yr old) The last month I have been working on ME: clothes, makeup, hair etc.. It has done wonders to my confidence. I’ve been googling & youtubing about mothers and style. There is little out there (that I could find away) I need something practical, affordable, easy and of course cute. One thing I did was buy all new hangers (those black nice ones) but I found them cheap at the dollar tree. $30 for 60 hangers online. I reorganized my closet and now it looks so much better. It makes it easy to see want I actually have. Oh, and to answer you question about confidence. 2 things a smile and good posture!

  3. SAHM of adult quadriplegic daughter. Would still like to look nice and FEEL GOOD about myself as well as BE the BEST wife AND MOTHER ( and GRANDmother to the grandchild we are raising)
