DIY Personalized Mouse Pad Tutorial
Hey there and a very Happy Tuesday to you!
Today I have a super simple way to personalize your computer’s mouse pad.
When you shop for mouse pads the selection can be limited.
I did find this adorable puppy design
but I wanted a different look for my home office.
Does your mouse pad need a new look?
One that reflects your style and works with your office decor?
If you answered yes, continue reading and I’ll show you how to do it!
Here’s what you’ll need to make this Personalized Mouse Pad:
-Mouse Pad
-Spray Adhesive
-Fabric
-Pencil and Scissors
STEP ONE: use your spray adhesive can to outline a corner cut out
You will only trace one corner — as this piece will be your template.
{You could totally skip this step if you wish, but I thought a little cut out would give the pad more style.}
STEP TWO: cut one corner out
STEP THREE: using previous cutout template, trace remaining corners
STEP FOUR: cut out all remaining corners
STEP FIVE: spray adhesive on your pad
I placed my pad in a cardboard box to control the adhesive.
STEP SIX: press fabric over mouse pad
Make sure to smooth out any air bubbles.
STEP SEVEN: cut the fabric to shape
And now I have a completely new look that’s all me.
Alright, so now go grab yourself a mouse pad
and add a little more style to your work space!
